			It is a pleasure to be the Grand Knight for this Fraternal Year which began in July 2006. I am looking forward to the challenge of being Grand Knight for this Council. Probably one event that is coming up that this Council will need a good deal of manpower is the upcoming MR Drive which we collect monies for the intellectually challenged children in the Madison schools. We have also donated monies to UCP from this drive. The drive will be the weekend of October 21st and 22nd at Southern Family Market, Kroger and Wal Mart. Brothers Kevin Rodriguez, Tom Hart and Richard Weber will be Site Captains for these sites, respectively. They and other officers of the Council will be making calls to solicit manpower support for this event. Please make every effort to participate in this event. Remember that every Fourth Thursday there is a Rosary for Life prayed in Church at 6:30 P.M. prior to the 7:00 P.M. Mass.
